PhD student Amelia Schirmer spoke at the Pathobiology and Translational Science Fall Student Seminar Series at UNC on Oct. 25^th.  Her presentation was titled “Investigating the Non-Canonical Role of Hippo Kinase Serine/Threonine Kinase 3 (STK3) in Prostate Cancer.”

Pathology PhD third-year student Jennifer Liu received first place for Best Student Platform at the 13^th International Conference on Environmental Mutagens in Ottawa, Canada last month. Her platform was titled “Examining the Role of LRRK2 in Genome Maintenance with Implications for Breast Cancer Disease Progression.”
