Community Pathology is the Division of the Department of Pathology providing expert anatomic and clinical pathology services for Duke Regional Hospital and Duke Raleigh Hospital, two major DUHS acute care facilities located in Durham and Raleigh NC, as well as numerous outpatient clinic locations in the surrounding areas.

All faculty are certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology, with individual members maintaining sub-specialty certifications in Cytopathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, and representing numerous other areas of sub-specialty expertise within pathology to meet the needs of patients and physicians in the broader Triangle area.
