2024 Annual Service Awards Celebration

On July 11^th, 2024, Duke Pathology hosted a luncheon to celebrate department members who have reached major milestones in their continuous service to Duke. Many of the awardees gathered in Duke School of Medicine’s Davison Building, where Professor of Pathology Rex Bentley, MD, recognized their years of service.

Bentley also thanked Staff Specialist Ginger Griffin, Staff Assistant Tommy Holloway, and Program Coordinator Tracy Watson for organizing this luncheon to honor our valued employees.

“Our faculty and staff are our most valuable assets,” wrote Johnston-West Endowed Department Chair of Pathology Jiaoti Huang, MD, PhD, who was unable to attend. “They provide patient care of the highest quality, advance science and medicine, and educate physicians and researchers of future generations. I am very proud and grateful to be able to work with this wonderful group of professionals.”
