Dr. Jeck Appointed as GI/Liver Surgical Pathology Fellowship Director

On July 5, 2022, William Jeck, MD, PhD, assumed the role of Duke Gastrointestinal/Liver Surgical Pathology Fellowship Director. Cynthia Guy, MD, previously held this position, and has championed the fellowship for the past five years through her dedicated service.

Jeck completed his MD/PhD degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015. He trained in anatomic pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital and in GI Surgical Pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He serves as the Associate Director of the Duke BioRepository & Precision Pathology Center (BRPC) for Digital Pathology. Jeck currently has active research in the areas of molecular pathology and computational pathology.
