Lee, Palta, Pizzo Awarded $2.8 Million U01 for Research on Radiation-Induced Heart Disease
Chang-Lung Lee, PhD; Manisha Palta, MD; and Professor Emeritus of Pathology Salvatore Pizzo, MD, PhD, received a grant from the NIH National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. They aim to develop an early biomarker to identify individuals at high risk of developing heart disease following radiation exposure.

Assistant Professor in Pathology Chang-Lung Lee, PhD, and Butler Harris Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology Christine Eyler, MD, PhD, were awarded a MPI R21 grant by the NIH National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
