Durham VA Pathology & Laboratory Medicine provides diagnostic services to over 200,000 Veterans through a network of facilities in central and eastern North Carolina. Its faculty includes eight pathologists with American Board of Pathology certification in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Cytopathology and/or Dermatopathology. Clinical laboratory expertise is provided by board certified MD/PhD faculty in the areas of Medical Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine.
