Thomas J. Cummings, MD, professor of Pathology and Ophthalmology and Residency Program director, lectured virtually at the History of Pathology Society Third Annual Fall Meeting on Oct. 1st, 2025.
In his lecture titled “November 22, 1963,” he discussed the autopsy and forensic pathology-related aspects of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and why the controversy and public fascination continue to thrive more than 61 years later.

Cummings has also been invited to speak at the History of Pathology Society Companion Meeting at the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) annual meeting in March, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.
