Heroes in the Duke Pathology Department are at the forefront fighting COVID-19.

On Friday April 18th, Governor Roy Cooper announced the creation of a working group charged with increasing access to COVID19 testing in our state.

Jeffrey Everitt, DVM, was named as an Associate Editor of the journal Toxicologic Pathology.

The severe shortage of PPEs in the US threatens the safety of our frontline healthcare workers who are caring for patients infected with COVID-19.  As this crisis unfolds, the Department of Pathology at Duke has mobilized to fight this shortage.

The Pulmonary Pathology Society (PPS) presented Victor Roggli, MD  with a 2020 PPS Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding clinical and academic contributions to the field of thoracic pathology and his service to the PPS over the years.
