Soman Abraham, PhD, was invited to present on Aug. 19th at the Tsinghua University- Sun Yat-sen Medical School Immunology & Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology Breast Cancer (CSCO BC) Immunotherapy Symposium, organized by two of China’s premier institutes for immunology: Tsinghua University and Sun Yet-sen University. He gave a virtual talk titled “Mast cells in Infection and Immunity.” This is major meeting widely attended by scientists, doctors, faculty, fellows, and trainees in China. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and associated travel/gathering limitations, Abraham was unable to attend the meeting in person.
The immunology workshop of Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology Breast Cancer (CSCO-BC) also sponsored the symposium. CSCO-BC is the Chinese sister organization of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
