Dr. Jiaoti Huang Lectures on Novel Treatments for Prostate Cancer at Genitourinary Malignancies Summit

Jiaoti Huang, MD, PhD, was invited to give two lectures at the 6th Annual Summit on Genitourinary Malignancies held in Colorado Springs, CO, from Nov. 16th-19th, 2023. Huang presented his lab’s data on new therapeutic targets in prostate cancer and proposed novel treatment strategies in two talks titled “Targeting CXCR2 in Neuroendocrine Cells of Prostate Cancer” and “GPC3 as a Novel Therapeutic Target of Advanced Prostate Cancer Including Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma,” respectively.

Leading physicians, researchers and multi-national pharmaceutical companies attended the invitation-only meeting, where they shared, discussed, and debated cutting-edge knowledge and novel ideas for the treatment of genitourinary tumors.

Huang is an internationally renowned prostate cancer pathologist and researcher who has spent 20 years studying strategies for targeting neuroendocrine cells to improve prostate cancer treatment. His lab has been working to understand molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis, therapy resistance and disease progression. Another area of investigation is to identify novel therapy targets to develop new treatment strategies for advanced prostate cancer. Learn more about the Huang Lab here.
