John M. Carney, MD
Assistant Professor John M. Carney, MD, has been selected to serve the North Carolina Society of Pathologists’ newly established Educational Advisory Committee.
The Committee’s charges are to:
- Assist in planning the Society’s annual meeting
- Explore opportunities for additional educational activities that support practicing pathologists and trainees
- Identify and promote initiatives to educate students—early in their academic journey—about careers in pathology and laboratory medicine
The Committee is comprised of individuals who are passionate about education, dedicated to advancing the field of pathology, and eager to collaborate on innovative programming that benefits the professional community and future workforce.
In addition, Carney currently serves as a member on the College of American Pathologists Surgical Pathology Committee.
