Dr. Xiaoyin “Sara” Jiang Presents at SLAC Congress in Mexico

Xiaoyin "Sara" Jiang, MD, FCAP, gave invited lectures at the 31st Congreso de la Sociedad Latinoamericana de Citopatología (SLAC) meeting in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Over the course of the meeting she gave three talks: 

  • A keynote lecture titled "Thyroid Cytopathology - Molecular Pearls and Morphologic Pitfalls"
  • "Basics of FNA Technique"
  • "Social Media - Why and How?"

The Congress was held in cooperation with the International Academy of Cytology, the Mexican Academy of Cytopathology, and the cytology societies of Brazil, Honduras, Guatemala, Chile, Columbia, Peru, and others. The meeting featured speakers from across Latin America, Europe, and the United States, who presented on a wide range of cytopathology topics. The purpose of the SLAC is to promote knowledge of Cytopathology, its dissemination and clinical application among health professionals and the general public.
