Dr. Thomas J. Cummings Invited to Give Three Presentations

Professor of Pathology and Residency Program Director Thomas J. Cummings, MD, gave three presentations recently:

1. He presented a lecture on ophthalmic pathology at the University of New Mexico (UNM) Pathology residency program on Aug. 31, 2025. He was invited by Duke Pathology Residency Program alumna Evelyn Lockhart, MD, who is residency program director at UNM.
2. He was invited to speak at Duke Neurosurgery Grand Rounds Sept. 3, 2025, for a session on intraoperative consultations.
3. He gave two ophthalmic pathology lectures for the continuing education of clinical histotechnologists at Duke University School of Medicine on Aug. 18, 2025, which was organized and led by Duke Pathology Medical Lab Scientist Diana Fry McCauley, HTL (ASCP)^CM, HT (ASCP).
