Dr. Neff Provides Educational Talks on Testing

Jadee Neff, MD, PhD, gave a virtual lecture on Oct. 12th for the Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation titled “Genetic Testing for Acquired Bone Marrow Failure Diseases.” It was an educational talk geared towards patients and their families, to enhance their understanding of the workup and diagnosis of acquired bone marrow failure diseases.

She has also been invited to give a talk on Oct. 15th at the North Carolina Medical Society’s annual LEAD conference titled “Understanding Molecular Test Results.”  Neff was selected to represent the North Carolina Society of Pathologists during the “Hall of Fame” session, in which one member from each of North Carolina’s specialty medical societies presents their topic from their recent specialty society meeting. Her talk will be geared towards non-pathologist physicians with a goal of helping them to understand the pathologists’ role in precision molecular testing.
