Pathology Department Chair Jiaoti Huang, MD, PhD, organized and moderated a session titled “Lessons Learned from Primary Prostate Cancer” at the 29th Annual Prostate Cancer Foundation Scientific Retreat in Carlsbad, CA, from Oct. 27th-29th. He also presented a lecture titled “Cellular Heterogeneity of Prostate Cancer in Therapy Resistance and Disease Progression.”
Nima Sharifi, MD, attended Huang’s lecture and tweeted “Great presentation from Jiaoti Huang on the pathology of prostate cancer, the preexistence of neuroendocrine cells (0.5%) and the potential for targeting CXCR2.”
