Ming Chen, PhD, was invited to present at the 2022 Society for Basic Urologic Research (SBUR) Annual Meeting on Nov 12th. The theme of the meeting was “Complex Cells, Systems, and Regulatory Pathways in Urologic Biology.” Chen gave a virtual talk titled “Engineering Large Chromosomal Deletions in Mice to Advance Precision Oncology for Prostate Cancer” in the Plenary Session 3: Modeling Urologic Biology and Disease.
SBUR is an organization with over five hundred members and brings together basic scientists, oncologists, urologists, and physician scientists who are engaged in basic and translational research in urological diseases. SBUR meetings provide a forum for interactions between the basic and clinical disciplines allowing bench scientists exposure to clinical problems and practices while informing clinicians of current scientific developments. Such focused crosstalk may lead to rapid development of trans-disciplinary, translational and clinical projects that have enormous benefits to patient care.
