Career Goals: I plan to be a pathology researcher, to study the causes of various diseases. I don't mind going to academia or the industry, as long as I can do research that helps find cures for diseases.
Hobbies: Traditional Chinese painting and Saxophone. I love planting and raising fish and tortoises as pets.
Why Duke: I have been to Duke University as a visiting student for half a year and I love the environment here. Duke Gardens looks beautiful. Besides, the Duke Pathology Ph.D. program offers me the best opportunities to study the cause of diseases.
Why Durham: Durham is a small town, not crowded and noisy, so it is a pleasant place to live and study.
