Career Goals: To pursue a career in academic hematopathology with a strong focus on molecular pathology, combining clinical practice with meaningful research that may contribute to improving patient diagnosis and management.
Hobbies and Interests: Spending time with my kids and family, trying new dishes —especially when my husband does the cooking—exploring new restaurants, and decorating and organizing our home.
Why Duke: I was especially impressed during my interview day by the faculty’s enthusiasm for teaching and their genuine commitment to fellow education. I was also excited by the excellent research opportunities within the Hematopathology Division, which align well with my research background and long-term academic career goals. The combination of outstanding clinical training, supportive mentorship, a collaborative environment, and strong research opportunities made Duke an ideal place for me to continue my training.
