Research: I am interested in understanding the mechanisms of human pathogenesis to reverse immune dysfunction in tumors and infectious diseases, with the goal of developing effective and durable biopharmaceuticals.
Career Goals: As I begin my PhD studies at Duke, I am looking forward to exploring diverse career opportunities. At this stage, I envision pursuing a research scientist role in industry or at a research institute.
Hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy watching survival reality shows and spending time with friends. I’ve recently taken up crochet as a creative and relaxing hobby.
Why Duke: I was drawn to Duke’s Pathology program for its strong emphasis on translational research, its flexible and individualized curriculum, and the welcoming sense of community I experienced during my visit.
