Contact Information:

Hometown: San Antonio, TX
College: University of Texas at Dallas
Medical School: University of Texas Medical Branch John Sealy School of Medicine
Fellowship Plans: Forensic Pathology (and possibly Neuropathology)!!
Career Goals: My plan is to become a Medical Examiner while still maintaining an affiliation with an academic institution so I can teach and work with residents and medical students!
Hobbies and Interests: A lot of my time is dedicated to spoiling my puppy! I'm a big foodie and love trying out new restaurants, coffee, and boba shops. I enjoy weightlifting and doing outdoorsy things like hiking and paddle boarding, but also enjoy chilling at home and tending to my plants with a good podcast, reality TV show, or anime playing.
Why Duke: Something that I really loved about Duke was how both residents and faculty were so friendly and open and were genuinely excited to be where they're at. I could really see myself getting along with and finding support in everyone I would be working with. Duke has both strong AP and CP training too, which is important to me so that I can get the most well-rounded education possible!

Why Durham: Having lived all around Texas for most of my life, I'm really excited by how green everything is in Durham! There are trees everywhere, and I'm looking forward to experiencing all the seasons we don't typically get in Texas. The vibe that the area gives off is so charming with so much to do and explore. Not only am I excited to get to know Durham, but I can't wait to plan future trips to the nearby coast or mountains!
