Why Duke: Duke has a wide variety and high volume of cases essential to becoming a well-rounded pathologist. There is flexibility in choosing rotations specific to my own interests, and the ability to design a fellowship tailored to my own career goals. In addition, there is plenty of support for physician mothers, and the residency culture is extremely friendly and supportive.
Why Durham: Growing up in Colorado, being outside as much as possible is something I value! I am excited for this new adventure in a town near mountains, forests, and beaches.
