Career Goals: To become the most knowledgeable and skilled pathologists’ assistant I can be! I'm interested in surgical and autopsy pathology, as well as research-oriented positions. I aim to continue learning throughout my career and perhaps pursuing further education down the line.

Hobbies and Interests: I love to read and like outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking — or, just sitting outside on a lovely day with friends! I also enjoy running, going on walks, practicing yoga, dancing, and staying active. 

Why Duke: An academically rigorous and unique curriculum paired with the opportunity to encounter complex specimens is exactly what I was looking for in a program. Additionally, the small class size, local rotations, and welcoming faculty are crucial for me.

Why Durham: I wanted to be in an area where I have access to lots of fun events and places but am also close to nature. I love the east coast, artsy cities, and being near family!
