Why Duke: I chose to attend graduate school at Duke because of its world-class education and the exciting, cutting-edge research taking place here. What attracted me to the Pathology Ph.D. program, specifically, is the accomplished faculty who are engaging in disease-focused research that has clinical applications, and the interesting curriculum offered by the program.

Why Durham: Durham's diverse culture as well as its location in the research triangle offers a great place to live and opportunities for professional development.
