Contact Information:
Hometown: Durham
College: Duke
Career Goals: I would like to initially work in an academic hospital setting, where there's exposure to a variety of complex surgical specimens, as well as hospital autopsies. I had a sneak preview of forensic pathology after reading Dr. Judy Melinek's "Working Stiff", I am hoping to explore more during my clinical rotations at the local ME office. Down the road, I would like to focus on teaching while gaining expertise through practice, peers and conferences.
Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy exploring the outdoor nature, as well as playing online strategy games indoors.
Why Duke: Duke is my alma mater, the professors are friendly and helpful. You don't just come for an education; you build life-long relationships and networks. Coach K may have retired, but my motto remains "eruditio et basketballio".
Why Durham: Durham is quiet and peaceful, it's a wonderful place to study without many distractions. Durham is also my hometown; I enjoy most the greeneries and local hospitality. Having lived in the big city for fifteen years, returning to Durham is like ordering a pepperoni or cheese pizza; simple, yet satisfying!
