Hobbies and Interests: I'm a huge cinephile, so I love going to the movies! I also love to garden, and I hope to (eventually) have my own fruit and vegetable garden.
Why Duke: Duke is a world-renowned institution that serves a substantial and diverse patient population. The pathology program has a well-established and balanced curriculum that prepares trainees to become great pathologists, while also giving space to spend time at home. The faculty and residents are also some of the friendliest people I've met in medicine!
Why Durham: I love that Durham has a touch of every type of lifestyle, from abundant outdoor activities to more urban scenes. I also look forward to the different seasons in Durham, given that I grew up in South Florida, and especially the fact that winters are mild.
