Career Goals: I am most interested in working in a surgical pathology lab, but as I enter my first year, I am open to learning about other career paths.
Hobbies and Interests: Reading, spending time with my cats, listening to true crime podcasts, and going to local events/markets.
Why Duke: Duke was the first school to implement a Pathologist’s Assistant program. That in itself was a huge reason why I chose Duke as it showed just how dedicated the school was and continues to be toward the program and its students.
Why Durham: I have lived in big cities, grew up in a pretty rural area, and learned that I like a little bit of both. Durham is that happy medium I was looking for.
