Research: My previous research has focused on gene therapy for Angelman Syndrome in a rat model.

Career Goals: Long term I would like to be a PI whether that be in industry or academia I am still deciding.

Hobbies: I love to exercise, travel, read, and spend time in nature.

Why Durham: Durham has everything one would need while still not being overcrowded. It is located within a day’s trip to both the ocean and the mountains, making it a great place for nature lovers. Its position within the research triangle allows for collaborations between institutions, which will open even more doors within the research community.
