Why Duke: Duke provides excellent training in both AP and CP with numerous research and teaching opportunities that will help me succeed in any career I choose. The faculty at Duke are dedicated to teaching and the well-being of residents. The residents are one big family who really support each other.
Why Durham: The research triangle area is not too large of a city with great opportunities and diversity but also has reasonable cost of living and excellent public school education. It is only 2 hours from the beach and 3 hours from the mountains. The weather is just beautiful with four seasons.
