Career Goals: Once I graduate, I intend to return home and gain experience in surgical pathology before seeking locum tenens positions. My ultimate goal is to work at an academic hospital, ideally one that includes a biorepository tissue bank.
Hobbies and Interests: In my free time I enjoy cooking, especially traditional Haitian cuisine. Watching true crime documentaries and spending time with my family are also some of my favorite pastimes.
Why Duke: Due to Duke's small class size, I will be able to collaborate closely with peers and faculty. In the clinical year, rotations are held within a short distance of campus, eliminating the need to travel and find accommodation.
Why Durham: Durham has a similar climate to my hometown, but I am eager to experience the seasons and the changes they bring. Additionally, Durham offers a variety of parks and natural attractions for me to explore!
