Research: I am interested in investigating oncogenic drivers of prostate cancer to better understand disease mechanisms and guide strategies that could reduce prostate cancer–related mortality.

Career Goals: My long-term career goal is to become a biomedical scientist.

Hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy spending time at the lake with my dog and friends, as well as traveling, hiking, and scuba diving whenever I get the chance.

Why Duke: I was drawn to Duke because of its unwavering commitment to fostering an intellectually stimulating academic environment. My time as a staff member in this inspiring atmosphere allowed me to witness firsthand the institutions’ dedication to research and innovation.

Why Durham: Durham is an ideal location for me, offering the perfect balance of access to both the beach and the mountains, each just a few hours away. I love that the area is full of things to do while still maintaining a welcoming, small-town charm.
