Research: I am interested in elucidating novel tumor immunology mechanisms to drive the intelligent design of cancer immunotherapies.

Career Goals: My long-term goal is to establish an academic research lab in the field of immuno-oncology.

Hobbies: I enjoy baking, chess, fitness, and going to the beach.

Why Duke: I chose Duke because of its international excellence in both clinical medicine and academic research. As the only clinical department at Duke that offers a PhD degree, Duke’s Pathology program specifically was a perfect fit for my translational research interests.

Why Durham: Durham’s rich history coupled with its biotech connections in RTP makes it an obvious choice for long-term studies as a Graduate Student. Between the Tobacco District, the Durham Bulls, and a strong BioPharma footprint, Durham offers something for everyone.
