Victor L. Roggli, MD, presented a Grand Rounds lecture at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT, on June 21st, 2023. The topic of his talk was “The Diagnosis of Pneumoconiosis in the 21st Century.”
Over his career, Dr. Roggli has published extensively and lectured on all aspects of lung diseases. He is known worldwide, especially for his work in the pathology of occupational lung diseases that paved the way to better understanding of disease processes related to occupational and environmental exposures. In 2020, The Pulmonary Pathology Society (PPS) presented him with a 2020 PPS Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding clinical and academic contributions to the field of thoracic pathology and his service to the PPS over the years.
