Leading Virtual Innovation in the COVID Era

During the pandemic, Duke Pathology has been a leader in innovating and sharing new virtual ways to stay connected, learn, and educate.

Duke has hosted Virtual Pathology Grand Rounds, a nationwide effort to continue exchange of research and faculty development opportunities: https://www.virtualpath.org/

Dr. Xiaoyin "Sara" Jiang has started, with several colleagues across the nation, a Pathology Podcast, PathPod:   https://pathpod.podbean.com/
The first-ever PathPod Quiz show features Dr. Jiang as host and Dr. Jake Maule as a contestant, sharing stories and testing pathology knowledge with pathology quiz games.

Dr. Jiang is also a senior author on a new paper on virtual teaching and learning in the #COVID era. This paper provides helpful tips and tools that are available for faculty and residents:  https://www.archivesofpathology.org/doi/abs/10.5858/arpa.2020-0201-ED

We invite you to explore and participate in these new outlets. The next Virtual Pathology Grand Rounds will be in June.
