Jeff Everitt, DVM was appointed to a three-year term to the 13 member Standing Committee for the Care and Use of Animals in Research by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine. This committee will provide a venue for the exchange of ideas and knowledge sharing among federal government agencies, the private sector, academic communities, and other stakeholders engaged in animal research, research training, experimentation, biological testing or for related purposes or other special categories involving research animals. The standing committee’s activities will be used to inform any future updates or additions to The Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (the Guide).
