Emily Hatheway Selected as Society of '67 Kinney Scholar

Emily Hatheway, MS3, has been selected as a 2022 Society of '67 Kinney Scholar. The Society of ’67 Kinney Scholars Program provides medical students, residents, and fellows the opportunity to participate in the Association of Pathology Chairs (APC) annual meeting. The scholars gain insight in medical education innovation and research and have the opportunity to engage in conversation with leaders in academic pathology. The scholars gain connections with their fellow pathology enthused medical students and residents, participating in group activities throughout the program.

“I am extremely excited for the opportunity to learn more about the current research in the field and meet so many key figures in academic pathology as a Society of '67 Kinney Scholar,” said “Hatheway. “Thank you for supporting me in this opportunity, Duke Pathology. A special thank you to Dr. Andrea Deyrup for being a wonderful mentor and for always encouraging me.”

The APC Annual Meeting 2022 will take place in Chicago, Illinois on July 17-20, 2022.  Click here for a description of the Scholars program and Past Recipients.
