On Oct 25th, 2022, Jiaoti Huang, MD, PhD, gave the Harold Cummins Endowed Lecture at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He discussed how studying histologic features of prostate cancer can inform mechanisms of therapy resistance and novel therapeutic strategies.
The Harold Cummins endowed lecture was established to honor Dr. Cummins and invites a world-renowned researcher each year. Dr. Cummins was former Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Tulane. He was a well-known anatomist and an accomplished researcher and educator. His studies and technique he developed, known as the Cummins Methodology, are recognized as vital tools in tracing genetic and evolutionary relationships.
