Dr. Xiaoyin "Sara" Jiang Co-Chairs Social Media Session at ATA Centennial Meeting

Xiaoyin "Sara" Jiang,MD, FCAP, co-chaired a session titled “Social Media for the Social Thyroidologist" at the American Thyroid Association's (ATA) Centennial Meeting in Washington, DC, from Sept. 27th to Oct. 1st.

It was the largest gathering of thyroidologists in the world, and featured interactive discussions, lectures, abstracts, and meet-the-professor sessions.

In addition to co-chairing the session, Jiang was featured in a video interview for the ATA's Centennial celebration. She spoke on the topic "Reflections on the History of Thyroid Cancer Surgical Pathology," alongside Dr. Ronald Ghossein. The interview is a part of a review series featured in the journal Thyroid's Centennial Expert Review, published in Video Endocrinology. They discuss notable recent history and future directions in thyroid surgical pathology analysis, including new entities, new terminologies, and new technologies. Watch the 15-minute interview here.
