Pathologist Magazine 2018 Power List

Two Duke Pathology Faculty members have been named to the Pathologist Magazine 2018 Power List of the best, brightest, and most powerful advocates of pathology. The Power List celebrates inspirational and influential professionals in laboratory medicine.

Allison Hall, MD PhD is an Assistant Professor of Pathology, and Head of Breast Pathology. Dr. Hall works with a multidisciplinary team to deliver cutting-edge care to cancer patients. She has built expertise in global health, recognizing the need for more data on cancers that arise in low- and middle-income countries. This work has grown out of longstanding collaborations between Duke and hospitals in Tanzania with the goal of generating data to better guide screening and treatment in Tanzanian women.

Xiaoyin “Sara” Jiang, MD is an Associate Professor of Pathology, and Associate Director of the Duke Biorepository and Precision Pathology Center. Her areas of research and expertise are cytopathology and surgical pathology of the head and neck and endocrine system.  She is also a leader on the national level in novel uses of social media for medical education and engagement.
