Pathologists’ Assistants Receive Degrees

The Duke Pathologists’ Assistant Program Class of 2016 received their Masters of Health Science degree at the Duke University Graduation on Sunday, May 15, 2106, in Wallace Wade Stadium.  The new graduates were the guests of honor at a luncheon and diploma distribution ceremony held at the home of the Associate Program Director, Ms. Pamela Vollmer, and her husband Dr. Robin Vollmer, with faculty, friends and family in attendance.  Dr. Rex Bentley, Program Director, gave the opening remarks and Dr. Vollmer presented the commencement address.

Please join us in congratulating a very fine group of students:  Mary Kate Cronin, Emilie Frank, Amelia Kerns, Alexandra Klemmer, Amanda Proulx, Windy Riley, Jael Williams, and Kaya York!

The students will continue with clinical practical rotations, complete their training and receive certification to sit for the ASCP Board of Registry Exam, culminating with the Senior Seminars on July 21, 2016.
