Hulette Appointed New Director of Autopsy Service

I am very pleased to announce that Dr. Christine Hulette will be the new director of the Autopsy Service.

Dr. Hulette completed her training in Anatomic Pathology followed by a Fellowship in Neuropathology here at Duke, joined the faculty in 1991 and has risen through the ranks until her promotion to full professor with tenure in 2006. In her early years at Duke she developed an international reputation in autopsy pathology, neurodegenerative disease and tissue banking. She has over 20 years experience as Attending on the Autopsy Service. Her research has been supported by the National Institute on Aging, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and by the National Institute of Mental Health. She is an avid educator, pathologist and scientist who brings years of multifaceted experience to the job.
