Duke Pathology Featured at AACR Meeting in Atlanta

Duke Pathology featured prominently at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting in Atlanta, from March 29 to April 3, 2019.

Several Duke Pathology members made presentations at the meeting:

  • Jiaoti Huang, MD PhD gave a talk, “Pathology for Cancer Researchers: An Overview” at the education session titled “Molecular Pathology for Cancer Researchers: Present and Future.”
  • Qianben Wang, PhD gave a talk, “Epigenomic approaches to identify transcriptional dependencies in prostate cancer” in a Major Symposium “Systems Epigenetics in Hormone-Driven Cancers.”
  • Everardo Macias, PhD and his Lab presented two posters titled “Inhibition of MST1/2 in Prostate Cancer Cells” and “Mechanisms and inhibition of RIOK2 for Obesity-driven Prostate Cancer.”  The first was presented by new graduate student Amelia Schirmer.
