de Ridder Elected to AOA Honor Society

Dr. Gustaaf de Ridder

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Gustaaf de Ridder, MD PhD for being elected to membership in the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha.  Per Dr. Edward Buckley (AOA Councilor and Vice Dean of Education), “Twice a year the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society elects a small number of new members.  The criteria include scholastic achievement, leadership capabilities, ethical standards, fairness in dealing with colleagues, demonstrated professionalism, achievement and/or potential for achievement in medicine, and a record of service to the school and community at large. Membership in AOA is a distinction that accompanies a physician throughout his or her career. In the spring the society elects a small number of residents and fellows. The competition is especially stiff for this group as only 3 are elected each year. I personally want to congratulate you on this important recognition of your accomplishments.”
